At the end of the street, the sky is burning. The buildings on either side — cladding gone, windows blown out, floors drooping where they should be flat — frame it like a corridor leading somewhere worth going. Hosam pointed the camera toward the light, and the light did not disappoint. The street holds the damage. The horizon holds everything else.
